Marble horeca tables

Marble Horeca tables are a popular choice for the hospitality industry due to their durability, beauty, and versatility. Horeca, which stands for hotel, restaurant, and catering, refers to the industry that provides food and beverage services to customers.

Quarried from the earth’s surface

Marble is a natural stone that is quarried from the earth’s surface. It is known for its unique veining and coloration, which makes each piece of marble a one-of-a-kind work of art. Marble Horeca tables come in a variety of colors and patterns, ranging from classic white and black to more exotic hues such as green, pink, and yellow.

One of the main benefits of marble tables is their durability. Marble is a hard and dense stone that can withstand a lot of wear and tear. This makes it an ideal material for use in high-traffic areas such as restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Another advantage of marble Horeca tables is their beauty. Marble has been used in art and architecture for thousands of years, and it is still prized for its elegant and sophisticated appearance. The unique veining and coloration of each piece of marble can add a touch of luxury to any space. Marble Horeca tables can be used to create a variety of different looks, from classic and traditional to modern and sleek.

Marble tables are also versatile. They come in a range of sizes and shapes, from small bistro tables to large communal tables. This makes them suitable for a variety of different settings, from cozy cafes to upscale restaurants. Marble tables can be used indoors or outdoors, depending on the specific needs of the establishment.

One thing to keep in mind when considering marble tables is that they do require some maintenance. Marble is a porous stone, which means it can absorb liquids and stains if not properly sealed. It is important to clean up spills and stains as soon as possible to prevent them from penetrating the surface of the stone. Regular sealing and polishing can also help to maintain the beauty and durability of the marble.

In terms of cost, marble Horeca tables can be more expensive than other types of tables, such as those made from wood or metal. However, the investment can be worth it in the long run due to the durability and beauty of the stone.

Overall, marble Horeca tables are an excellent choice for the hospitality industry. They offer a combination of durability, beauty, and versatility that is hard to beat. Whether you are looking to create a classic and elegant dining experience or a modern and trendy atmosphere, marble Horeca tables can help you achieve your vision. Just be sure to take proper care of them to ensure they last for many years to come.

About the project

PROJECT
Material Dekton
Color Sirius
Location Utrecht, the Netherlands
Project finish 2020 may

One of our most well-known projects was the delivery of Dekton in a 13th century mansion in the old city centre of Utrecht. The history of this building is impressive. It was built in the Middle Ages and has long been a bakery. After the baker stopped baking bread in 2004, the building remained empty for almost 15 years. During that time, it served mainly as a sleeping place for the homeless. In 2019, the building got a new owner who refurbished it. He created 6 unique lofts ranging in size from 200 to 270 square metres.

Historic buildings like this one offer many possibilities. In one of the lofts, the owner chose to partially remove the floor. In doing so, he wanted to emphasise the height of the building, and he succeeded. The ceiling is now 6 metres above the floor. The kitchen of this beautiful loft is located in the most sunny part of the house. The room is 5 metres high and 16 metres long. The kitchen itself is divided into three parts. The largest part contains a convenient kitchen block with an integrated stove and a black sink. In the middle of the kitchen, the worktop is being used as a bar to relax at after a long day at work. The end of the kitchen is used as a sideboard for the television. In this way, they create a multifunctional room that serves for optimal use of the available space.

For this project, we used Dekton Sirius. This material is very strong and has a slightly tangible structure. Two solid walls lower the worktop to the ground so that it becomes part of a larger whole. This gives the kitchen a warm and robust appearance.

About the project

PROJECT
Material Granite Nero Portoro
Location Almelo, the Netherlands
Project finish 2020 august

We do not only supply products for indoors. Of course, we do not forget the outdoor area. After all, that is just as important. Outdoor kitchens are becoming increasingly popular. Together with Houtdoor, we make the pleasure of cooking and living outdoors a reality. Today, being outside means so much more than just a barbecue. Outdoor kitchens are complete copies of their indoor counterparts. They allow you to enjoy every season in the open air.

The most commonly chosen material for outdoor kitchens is wood. Houtdoor is one of the few companies that uses wood from the western red cedar. This type of wood is of extremely high quality and stands for durability. It is often used in Scandinavian saunas because of its great properties. Oak wood is not to be forgotten. In Europe, this type of wood always carries a certificate, which stands for quality.

Building an outdoor kitchen may look simple, but it is certainly not. The wood behaves differently in every season. It expands during the cold winter months and shrinks under the warm sun in summer. Houtdoor’s special constructions ensure that this does not happen.

The kitchen in the pictures is made of the wood of the western red cedar. The whole is decorated with a worktop of quartzite Portoro from Brazil. A hard and strong stone that is ideally suited for outdoor use. The kitchen was made for Kees Smit Tuinmeubelen XXL in Almelo, the Netherlands.
